When we visit Disneyland back home, we always stay at a little motel right across the street. Reasonably priced & close to the parks. For our trip to Tokyo, we yolo-ed out & booked a few nights at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. Even opting for a suite in the theme of Beauty & The Beast. The best part? We didn’t tell my Mom we were staying here. Kept it a secret for months. Check out the video at the end of this post to see her reaction & a more in-depth look at the room.
Let’s start first with the hotel itself.
This hotel is very similar to the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World (although we’ve never been!). Pretty classy decor, with tall planters throughout & a fountain in the middle. We only dined at one of the three restaurants on-site, but it was yummy! We decided on the Sherwood Garden Restaurant buffet for breakfast, to get a wide variety of yumminess. Lots of American style options! The hotel does have a pool, but unfortunately it was closed for winter.
The little details throughout the hotel were adorable. They focused mostly on the classic Disney characters, like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, & Goofy. The Tokyo Disneyland hotel is the closest hotel to Disneyland. ^^ That’s Bobby & Aubrey at the monorail, with our hotel behind them. Peep Bobby’s Mickey hood from the parks!
This was the view from our room! Right beyond Disneyland station are the entry gates. Cute little hidden Mickey’s were all over the hotel, check out this cutie in the tile work.
The staff at the hotel were incredible, which shouldn’t be a surprise to most Disney fans. Aubrey got at *least* 10 Disney stickers from the staff throughout our stay, along with an assortment of unique pressed pennies. While we were outside taking pictures of the grounds, a staff member ran over to take pictures of the whole group.
First & foremost, I apologize for being a lackluster videographer but I promise to get to know my camera on a more personal level soon. Here’s a little overview of our stay at the Tokyo Disneyland hotel in the Beauty & the Beast suite. This room was so impressive, all of the little details were so cute. From the wallpapers to the cute Mickey slippers (that I’m currently wearing), everything was Disney-ed out. The hotel itself was adorable AND THE AMENITIES. You can see in the picture below all the stuff our room came with.
Overall, this was the most memorable stay of life. I hope to go back & try one of the other suites they have to offer.
