I’m 30!

This past weekend, under a full moon, I turned 30 years old. YES B!TCH YOU DID IT. I know turning older isn’t an accomplishment. Not much personal effort is needed to complete a trip around the sun, but I will congratulate myself on changing for the better each day. My 20’s were selfish & at times completely unfulfilling. I want to steer my 30’s with a laser focus on happiness & purpose.

My mom, along with the rest of my family, threw me an unforgettable 30th birthday party at our home. With *Nsync & Taco Bell cake pops, a Britney Spears cutout, & a custom menu complete with a bloody mary bar, it was hard not to have the time of my life. Check out some of the highlights below!

The cake pops didn’t just look amazing, they tasted incredible. We always use Pops*Bites*Treats by Yvette. She has never disappointed & has such a gift! My mom themed the party around me. It featured all of my favorite things, past & present. She even had our wedding cake replicated. I knew I was in for a treat when she told me “get out your bobble heads”. My mom made sure all my favorite treats & flavors were present.

I recently became a blood mary snob, after having the best bloody mary of life in New Orleans. My mom provided all the Fixin’s (in Stevie’s voice from Eastbound & Down, RIP!) to make the perfect cocktail, including bacon salt for the rim & candied bacon. I love bacon.

My sister shared a story during the party of how I used to love dressing up as a kid. Costumes, tutus, accessories, I ate it up. She gifted me this awesome orange tutu so I could continue my love of outrageous styles. Safe to say me & my friends rocked it. Etsy provided my Mom tons of personalized decor, including this gorgeous photo backdrop. 30 flirty & thriving ❤
