Come fall, my skin has lightened up & dried out. Updating my beauty game with the seasons is a must, my skin would hate me otherwise. As it cools down, I pack in the moisture & keep it simple. Opting for a lip salve under a bold matte lip & a subtle highlight for daytime looks. The Naked Heat palette is my fall go-to, with rusty mattes & bronze shimmers offering a variety of casual or night out looks. Check out the rest of my favorites below!
Urban Decay’s Naked Heat
I own all of the Naked palettes. This one is my favorite (with a close second being Naked 3). Urban Decay shadows are always creamy & blend-able, this set being no exception. The hues in this one remind me of my ALL TIME favorite palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario. I’m still kicking myself for not buying a second as I’ve already hit pan on 2 shadows. The shades are so pigmented, an absolute dream to blend. This is one of the first palettes where I’ve used all the shades. When I’m traveling, this is usually the only eyeshadow palette I’ve been bringing along.

Dermalogica Active Moist
As I near 30 (yikes), I’ve been familiarizing myself with skincare. I’m a product junky, & struggle with getting into a solid routine because I’m always testing out new products. I received a sample of this in one my my monthly beauty subscriptions, which prompted me to buy the full size. This one wasn’t cheap, at $40 for just under 2oz. It’s oil free & leaves my skin smelling & feeling fresh. I use this one day & night, mixing it with an SPF 30 during the day.
Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment
^^ That was a mouthful. I got a deluxe sample of this from my most recent Sephora Play! box. This was the first product I used by Boscia & was happy to try it out. I love the presentation of the mask, with it’s white & black stripes. The instructions suggested a brush to apply & I’ve never felt fancier. I’ve tried a ton of charcoal masks, none that I loved as much as this. Goes on smooth & dries fast, after washing with a washcloth my skin feels buttery soft. I like that this mask didn’t dry out my skin, but left my pores clean & clear.

Too Faced’s Born This Way Foundation
In the fall/winter, my tan starts to fade & my skin lightens up. I stopped in to my local Ulta to find a lighter shade. I’ve been using Urban Decay’s All Nighter which is a full coverage foundation. Since my skin is getting a *little* bit better, I wanted something I could build up to full coverage if needed, & the girl helping me suggested this. Good karma is coming her way because I LOVE IT. It really moisturizes my skin & provides a nice medium coverage that lasts. I use the shade Warm Nude.
Rosebud Salve under Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips
Winter is coming & everything is dry AF. Colourpop Ultra Mattes usually leave my lips parched, especially if I don’t exfoliate them beforehand. The Rosebud Salve was an impulse buy during checkout one Sephora trip. It has a nice price tag & cute packaging, which is a sure fire way to get me to buy you. Add the fact that it’s multi-use, not only for your lips but elbows & knees too? Get in my collection yesterday!
Kat Von D Lock It Concealer (in medium 19 cool)
I received this little baby as a sample from my Sephora Play! box as well. I’ve used her Lock It foundation previously & loved it, excellent full coverage. This concealer is no different. It blends nicely & after setting it with Laura Mercier Brightening Powder, no creasing what-so-ever.

Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette
Becca already holds the special place in my heart I reserve for highlighters, thanks to Champagne Pop by Jaclyn Hill. When I heard Chrissy was collaborating with them, I knew this palette would be mine (thanks mom!). So their formula is soft & creamy to the touch. Not quite a dry powder & not quite a cream, this glides on like a dream. Since we travel a lot, I was grateful the packaging is sturdy AF, perfect for my carry-on. I can see this palette working for a range of different skin tones, as you can build up the colors easily.
